Here's what's happening on Week 10
Hi everyone,
So many of you joined last week — hope this newsletter lives up to your expectations and helps you discover fun new things to do in the city! If you haven’t seen it yet, I put together a big list of Arts & Crafts Clubs and Workshops happening around Copenhagen, which you can check out here. And this week, there’s something special for those looking to practice their language skills: a Speaking Club Guide! You’ll find it all the way at the bottom.
This weekend, it’s finally Fastelavn, which means kids will be celebrating by beating a cat in a barrel with a stick — thankfully not a real one. (Still, the whole thing has terrible origins that I can’t help but side-eye the celebrations.) I didn’t list Fastelavn events happening in museums and such, just because there’s already so much going on this week. Expect dance events, workshops, political talks for International Women’s Day, social gatherings, and more. Hope you find something you like!
SOCIAL — Language Café
Practice languages over free coffee & tea. The Language Café is back for the spring semester, running every other Saturday. Chat, learn, and meet people in a cosy setting. Languages change each time, so check the list before you go.
