Welcome back, dear reader!
You know I’m all about those offbeat, under-the-radar happenings, so here I am with yet another week’s worth of events — From an interesting talk about aging to a pub quiz, from kids’ paper weaving to workshops at Glyptoteket I’ve dug up some events hopefully to keep our international community a bit closer to the local scene.
But more importantly, there’s a Workshop Guide down there! If you’re into making things with your hands (or just like the idea of it), I’ve put together the ultimate list of literally all the arts and crafts events happening regularly in Copenhagen’s culture houses and libraries. We’re talking sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, repair cafés, drawing, upcycling — basically, if it involves fabric, thread, paint, yarn, work tools or glue, it’s probably in there. These events happen regularly, so if you miss one, there’s always next week. They’re also a great way to meet like-minded people (read: potential new friends), and since most of them are packed with Danes, they might even give you a little push to practice your Danish — if you’re up for it. Either way, you get to make cool stuff and meet locals, so it’s a win-win!
And without further ado, here’s this week’s happenings:
