This edition’s coming to you a bit later than usual, because I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather (Only Copenhagen events again, sorry to those living in other cities 😪)

Until Mar. 20: Two Exhibitions at Simian Gallery - If you are into modern art and if you find yourself in Ørestad area you can check these artists’ works. Free entry
Until Aug. 25: The Length of Horizon at Cph Contemporary - Copenhagen Contemporary will feature artist Kapwani Kiwanga’s exhibition which explores social mechanisms and power dynamics through large-scale installations of plants, foliage, sand, colour and light. 120/95 DKK
Jan. 27-28: KREA CPH - Denmark’s largest handicrafts fair with over 30 workshops. Buy hobby materials, meet exhibitors. Workshops in Danish. 50/90/180 DKK
Jan. 28: Bogfest i Absalon - Book Festival in Absalon is a storytelling festival and book market in one. Free entry
Jan. 31: Karaoke Wednesday - A regular event at The Fluffy Duck. Free entry
Jan. 31-Feb. 3: Cheese Fondue Evening - Fondue for 2 people with vegetables and homemade bread. 390 DKK for 2
Jan. 31: Wines of Italy - Learn about wine in a small group. Guided by a sommelier and wine expert. Tapas dinner included in ticket. 400 DKK
Feb. 1-25: Vinter Jazz - The long awaited Winter Jazz Festival is finally upon us. 3 weeks, 600 concerts, 150 venues. There will be so many free concerts and artist talks, you can find them all in the link.
Feb. 1: Spring Exhibition 2024 - For the 167th time, the annual exhibition opens at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. And the admission is free on the opening day. Free entry
Until Feb. 18: A Short History of Kjellerup Weaving - Weaver Anne Mette Larsen exhibits 200 meters of newly woven blankets. Free entry
Until Feb. 29: Philosophical Film Festival - This year’s theme is AI, media and power, trauma and crisis management, gender and identity and much more. Introductions in Danish, subtitles/dialogue in English. 110 DKK
Feb. 2-25: Copenhagen Light Festival 2024 - Over 35 works and additional pop-up events will be part of the festival and they can be experienced in several areas. There are also guided tours. Like this Social Beer Walk or this Festival Tour (ticket required). Free event
Every Thursday / Feb. 1: Djs & Selectors - Søhesten is a popular bar among Copenhageners and hosts regular events. Free entry
Feb. 2: Roastery Tour & Coffee Tasting - Coffee Collective holds these events every first Friday of the month. Ticket includes a bag of coffee. 150 DKK
Feb. 2-3: Rainbow Sports Film Festival - Collaboration with Pan Idræt - Denmark's largest rainbow sports club focusing on creating an inclusive space for sporting activities. Festival focuses on the challenges in the world of sport. Some introductions may be in Danish; subtitles in English. Snacks included in ticket. 95 DKK
Feb. 3: The Ultimate Overdressed Affair - Women who want to dress up will not feel out of place at this event! I've seen how this event idea grew from a Facebook post to a full-fledged event with over 3000 people interested. So, congratulations to all the women who made it happen! :) Two drinks included in ticket. 200 DKK
Feb. 4: Plant Swap - Bring the plants you want to pass on and take home a new green friend and get a 10% discount on beverages. Free entry
Feb. 4: Wire Flower Workshop - Make different types of flowers and leaves with the use of metal wires. Materials included. 215 DKK
